Motability Operations, the company that manages the car scheme for disabled people, has rewarded its outstanding business partners at the annual Motability Operations Supplier Awards. Celebrated on 4th April 2008, the Supplier Awards recognise commitment to deliver first-class customer service, above and beyond the call of duty.

Picking up the award for Business Partner, Showman Event Support of Gaydon, Warwickshire commended for their excellence and consistent performance that continues to beat expectations.

The Motability Supplier Awards took place at the Celtic Manor hotel in Wales on 4th April 2008 and were hosted by newsreader Huw Edwards. Mike Betts, chief executive of Motability Operations, commented:

The Motability Car Scheme provides a new car complete with tax, insurance, RAC breakdown cover, and free replacement tyres to disabled people and their families. Anyone who receives the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance or the War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement is eligible for a car on the scheme. There are no further medical assessments or credit checks required.
